Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Candor Financial Partners LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Candor Medicare ("Candor," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this website, submit a form, or speak with one of our licensed advisors. Candor is an independent insurance agency. We are not affiliated with the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.
1. Information we collect
- Contact information you give us when you schedule a call or download the turning-65 checklist: name, email address, and — on the schedule form — phone number, date of birth, and ZIP code.
- Medicare-related responses about your situation, who the booking is for, and which plan types you want to discuss. We use this to prepare for the call. If you explore plans online, that wizard is run by our quoting partner (SunFire); those answers live in their session, not on this site.
- Consent records — when you check the TCPA consent box, we store the consent language, version, timestamp, your IP address, and your browser's user agent. This lets us prove that you opted in, as required by federal law.
- Call information — scheduled calls with a Candor advisor may be recorded for quality and compliance and retained as required by CMS.
- Analytics — we use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and site performance. We do not use Meta Pixel or other third-party advertising trackers.
2. How we use your information
- To have a licensed advisor contact you about Medicare plan options.
- To prepare a Scope of Appointment (SOA) before we discuss specific Medicare Advantage or Part D plans with you, as required by CMS.
- To comply with CMS recordkeeping, TCPA consent proof, and state insurance department requirements.
- To improve the website and our service.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with insurance carriers for marketing purposes without your permission. We share information only:
- With our service providers under confidentiality obligations: Neon (database), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google (Analytics, and Calendar plus Gmail for booking confirmations), and SunFire (the online plan explorer).
- When you ask us to — for example, when you direct us to submit a plan enrollment application on your behalf.
- When required by law, regulation, CMS audit, or a subpoena.
4. Data retention
Because Medicare marketing is regulated, we retain lead records, Scope of Appointment records, call recordings, and related compliance data for at least 10 years from the date of the interaction, and TCPA consent records for at least 4 years. After those periods expire, we delete or anonymize the records.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations). California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@candormedicare.com.
6. Communications and opt-out
You can opt out of marketing calls or texts at any time by replying STOP to a text message, asking the advisor to remove you from the call list, or emailing hello@candormedicare.com. You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email we send.
7. Children
This site is intended for adults eligible for Medicare or their caregivers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored by our database provider with encryption at rest. Access to lead data is restricted to licensed advisors and authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
